About the Course The NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) offers a comprehensive understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices. The programme is specifically designed for managers, supervisors and employee representatives to help manage risks more effectively. NEBOSH IGC focuses on international standards and management systems, enabling candidates in any industrial sector to efficiently execute workplace health and safety responsibilities. The syllabus is divided into three units assessed separately: IGC1 - Management of International Health and Safety Foundation in Health & Safety Health and Safety Management Systems 1- Policy Health and Safety Management Systems 2 – Organizing Health and Safety Management Systems 3 – Planning Health and Safety Management Systems 4 - Monitoring, Review and Audit GC2 - Control of International Workplace Hazards Workplace Hazards & Risk Control Transport Hazards & Risk Control Musculoskeletal Hazards & Risk Control Working Equipment Hazards & Risk Control Electrical Hazards & Risk Control Fire Hazards & Risk Control Chemical And Biological Health Hazards And Risk Control Physical And Psychological Health Hazards And Risk Control GC3 - International Health and Safety Practical Application Practical Assessment Examination Based on visit to active worksite to understand and assess safety measures adopted there Examination: There will be written examinations on paper 1 (Management of International Health and Safety) and paper 2 (Control of International Workplace Hazards), each lasting 2 hours, along with the practical assessment which comprises of site inspection and report writing. Certification and validity Participants must achieve the minimum pass standard in all examinations and assessment to be awarded the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.Lifetime Validity Duration : 10 Days
